Jesse Boykins III may be keeping us waiting for a little longer for his next album, Love Apparatus, but he is nonetheless satisfying our hunger for new music. Last year he was one of the artists accepted to participate in the Red Bull Music Academy that was held in Madrid, Spain, and one of the hallmarks of the yearly five-week long program is all of the music that is created on site by musicians who come together from all over the world. While there, Jesse linked up with German producer Gora Sou and the result of their collaboration is the song "The Perfect Blues." Boykins blesses the track with his lilting falsetto, which rides the song's three movements effortlessly. This song is one of the many from RBMA's upcoming Various Assets - Not For Sale compilation, which will be officially released on February 24th but prior to that you can preview and download songs daily from their SoundCloud page.
