While last year's What Were You Hoping For? might not have been what everyone expected from Van Hunt, it was definitely one of his most artistically daring outings to date. What was even better was witnessing him perform during his promotion of the album, where he not only performed selections from WWYHF? but also re-imagined songs from his back catalog into brand new creations. Did you happen to miss it? Well, the great news is that Van is taking his show on the road once again, hitting 22 cities. The tour will start in Austin on March 15th and snake its way around the Midwest and East coast before ending in Minneapolis a month later. Don't be dismayed if a city near you isn't on the list, though. Van's also announced he'll release his album Live at the Troubadour 2011 on March 13th. The live album will feature 19 tracks, all recorded during his promo tour stop at West Hollywood's legendary Troubadour club. There isn't word on what exactly the tracklisting will be just yet, but if it's anything like his live show, prepare to hear everything you were hoping for and more. For more information about the tour and live album, stay glued to his website and Facebook profile. For tour dates and locations, all you have to do is check the bounce.
