Can You 'Feel' This New Sene. Short?

As of late, it seems like Plug Research is on a quest to dominate the independent music scene. After dropping stellar projects by the likes of Bilal, Shafiq Husayn, and Quadron in recent years, the deluge of hot music shows no signs of letting up in 2012, with projects by Tensei, Hawthorne Headhunters, and Lee Bannon on tap. Since dropping a compilation sampler last week, PR has been keeping things rolling with new videos and free music. Bi-coastal rapper Sene. is the latest to get the promo treatment with the release of his latest video for the track "feel." And as with anything coming from the Plug Research camp, the visuals are anything but typical. Rather than a regular music video, this eight-minute long short explores Sene.'s return to his NYC hometown after spending several years in Cali. Viewers get to see multiple sides of Sene.'s personality as he wrestles with his own internal conflict. Snippets from his upcoming debut, brooklyknight, provide the clip's soundtrack, revealing glimpses of what we can expect when the album drops April 24th.
