Cody ChesnuTT Sings A Song For Trayvon

The tragedy of Trayvon Martin has caught the attention of the nation, so it was only a matter of time before the music community responded. Not one afraid to speak his mind, Cody ChesnuTT has recorded the track "Zimmerman 2012." The two-minute track gets straight to point as it begins with its accusatory opening line ("Zimmerman, you're a murderer...") before going on to further indict George Zimmerman's heinous acts ("you killed this kid, you killed this kid..."), ending simply with ChesnuTT singing Trayvon's name over and over. Though the FBI and the U.S. Justice Department are now getting involved in the investigation of this case, it's still not too late to pledge your support of Trayvon Martin's family. The petition demanding the prosecution of Zimmerman has amassed nearly one million signatures and events like yesterday's Million Hoodie March are bringing awareness to the case and the injustice of racial profiling.
