We've been crazy about Rahsaan Patterson's song "Crazy (Baby)" since we first heard it when bleuphoria dropped last July. We nodded with approval when it was tapped to be the album's second single and gave Rah and Shanice Wilson a standing ovation when we saw video of them tearing the stage down during a live performance of the funky little jam. Now Patterson gives us another reason to love this song even more than we already do with a remix that samples Notorious B.I.G.'s "Juicy," which was itself a sample of Mtume's "Juicy Fruit." I'm all for recycling samples when it's done well, as it is here on the "Crazy*Juicy (Dub)." Rahsaan harmonizes with himself, and his vocals blend nicely with this new sound bed. This song has been transformed into something you can do a good bodyroll to. Give it a listen for yourselves.
