You Don't Want To 'Miss' This Kenny Wright Song

When you're a new artist, it's important that your first impression be your best one. Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Kenny Wright must've got that memo. Kenny, who's been featured on tracks by indie MC Curtiss King and lent his writing talents to other artists, has burst on the scene with his new song "Miss LA." It is a great example of his musical style, a blend of R&B, pop, and soul that has a modern feel. The song, which sounds like it could either be about a woman caught up in the LA life or an indictment of the name-dropping LA ladies in general, is produced by California-based team The U and fits into the newer R&B/pop sensibilities of artists like Frank Ocean and Miguel. Check out "Miss LA" below and be sure to grab the free download of the song. Also, keep an eye out for Kenny's debut EP, which will be released via his website this summer.
