Damian 'Jr. Gong' Marley Is Here To 'Set Up Shop'

Maybe it's just me and the Jamaican blood that runs through my veins, but nothing signals the return of warmer weather to colder climes than reggae music. Sure, you can listen to reggae year-round, but there's something about spring and summer that makes you want to dutty wine all the time. To aid in that endeavor, reggae royalty Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley has some new music on the way, so get those hips ready. His fourth solo album is scheduled to drop in coming months, and the second single, "Set Up Shop," is quite a dancehall burner. But Damian doesn't take us to the dance floor in the video for "Set Up Shop," instead taking viewers to Jamaica with scenes of everyday life and people getting their grind on, which the song encourages us all to do. Distant Relatives with Nas was cool and his SuperHeavy collabo was different, but it's mighty lovely to hear Jr. Gong go back to basics. [H/T: LU]
