What else can be said about Jessie Ware that hasn't already been gushed about on dozens of music blogs, including this one? To be a broken record, this South Londoner is definitely one to keep tabs on, and while there isn't an official full-length set out just yet, high anticipation is in effect, especially after this newly-minted track dropped into my conscious over the weekend -- and has yet to let go. After the stunning display that was "Running," Ware takes things into a skittish domain with the Julio Bashmore produced "110%," which glides and lands into a soothing blend of trip-hop with hints of some good old '80's pop in tow, all the while managing to have Ware's creamy vocals in full spotlight. As an accompaniment, the visual for "110%" is just as serenity-filled as Ware wanders through some summery backdrops. While gorgeously directed by graphic designer, Kate Moross, my nose got a little itchy when she was romping through those flowers (seasonal allergies, blech). As of current, "110%" is only available in the UK, but it will be rightfully unleashed all over when June 4th rolls around so everyone can experience another huge track from Ms. Jessie Ware.
