Phonte's solo album still gets major burn here at SBHQ, so it's great to see a new video from Charity Starts at Home, this time for the track "The Life of Kings." Filmed on location on North Carolina, Tay is joined by his partner in rhyme, Big K.R.I.T., but the other featured rapper on the song, Evidence, couldn't make the shoot so Phonte's mother came to the rescue. Yessir, MomTigallo might have been lip-syncing, but she got skills! Tigallo might need to get mom's bars on a remix or something. Also present and accounted for at the video shoot were the song's producer 9th Wonder, Zo!, Debórah Bond, and a few other faces in the crowd who you may recognize. This isn't a ground-breaking video, but it sure does feel good to watch it.
