Life is a dance, or so I've seen in passing on my Pinterest dashboard, and apparently Esperanza Spalding got the memo, too. One of our favorite singers/musicians who gives me afro envy on the regular does something a little out of the ordinary in the music video for her song "Crowned & Kissed." Accompanied by five dancers and dressed in all black, Esperanza and company interpret the song through dance. She plays the queen, of couse, and she engages her king with modern choreography and jazz hands. I have to say, I'm quite impressed with Esperanza's moves; she's quite an agile and adept dancer. Who knew? Is there anything that she doesn't do and do very well? While you mere mortals ponder that question, watch her in lovely action.
