Bask In The Glow Of Gabriele Poso's 'Sunshine'

With record-breaking temperatures all across the country, it's likely that the last thing you want is more sunshine, but Gabriele Poso has managed to make the fiery, life-sustaining ball of gas tolerable, even more desirable, with the video for his latest single, "Sunshine." Filmed in a sun-bathed bauxite quarry in southern Italy, the multi-instrumentalist and composer casually shows off his conga drum and guitar skills as he's being shadowed by a mysterious woman dressed in white. The soothing track, golden and rich with several instruments including a piano, violin, double-bass and brass, features the soulful vocals of Tanya Michelle. The song opens his very excellent album, Roots of Soul, and merely scratches the surface of the gems you'll find on there. If, like me, you're in need of even a momentary getaway, hit play and prepare for your soul to be warmed by Poso's breezy "Sunshine."
