Rising R&B sweetheart Elle Varner recently took a trip down memory lane as she visited her old NYU stomping grounds for the initial episode of her new web-series, "Elle in the City." Reminiscing over talent shows and dorm room debates, Elle discusses finally seeing the bigger picture. "A lot of people can't make it in New York. It's very difficult. So to say that I not only live here, but I made it in New York is something that I'm really proud of," she said. The clip also features a beatbox-backed performance of Elle's 2011 hit single, "Only Wanna Give It to You," which originally featured Roc Nation recording artist J. Cole. Elle Varner's debut studio album, Perfectly Imperfect, will be available everywhere on August 7th.
