I have to admit I am very close to filing Tawiah alongside Lauryn Hill and D'Angelo on my "will we ever see an album from..." list. The immensely talented Londoner has been signed to Warner for some time now, and there have been a few rumored anticipated release dates as well as a promo-only release of the supposed first single "Sweet Me" but, alas, we still have nothing more concrete than good ol' guesswork. However as they say, quality is better than quantity, and quality takes time. Until then feast your eyes and ears on this video of her giving a spellbinding performance of "Every Step," taken from '08s In Jodi's Bedroom EP, to a rapt London audience. Filmed at Put Me On It's Live @ The C.A.M.P. London (the same night as this equally beautiful performance), the over nine-minute rendition features a fair bit of crowd participation -- they know all the words to the underground gem of a song -- and a brilliant breakdown around the 4:30 mark. I've been a fan since her EP release, but this video has convinced me to finally make seeing her live a priority.
