Kylie Auldist Goes Though The 'Changes'

Kylie Auldist is one artist that I never have to worry about. After two solid albums and numerous collaborations with The Bamboos, Auldist hasn't stumbled a beat, continuously dishing out quality soulful excursions. Just a couple of days ago we got a nice little taste of what's in store for Auldist's forthcoming third album, Still Life, by way of the summery Jackson 5-ish "Counting On You," and once again she triumphs. Changing the pace, the Aussie singer transforms into a dancing queen as she swivels her way out onto the lighted floor on the shimmering "Changes." As an unabashed lover of disco, hearing the jovial strings and twittering flute just melting into one another has got me feeling the night fever, and "Changes" doesn't hold back as it chugs along in crisp fanfare with Auldist guiding ships to shore with her vivacious vocals. Once you take in "Changes" you might feel the urge to buy a mirrored ball or don some roller skates.
