Perpetually left of center and awesome, Esthero is back to her quirky antics again on the visual for her single, "Never Gonna Let You Go," and actually, I'm all glad for it. In a weird black n' white swirl that feels like Mommie Dearest meets Fatal Attraction meets The Bad Seed, Esthero plays a boozing platinum card carrying mama who seems to be oblivious to her bratty daughter, who um, well, isn't exactly all that chummy with her dolls. If you're a tireless advocate to stop the mistreatment of dolls from the hands of demented children you might want to look away as you'll witness "Barbie" and "Ken" (or the 99 cents store versions of them called "Karen" and "John") getting, roped, tied and placed in an oven by 'Ro's little girl. Why? Either the girl has a love jones for the male doll or she's reenacting the twisted love triangle that has got 'Ro's mascara a-running. How ever you view this zaniness, you can rest assured Esthero's third album, Everything Is Expensive, is indeed becoming a reality as it will be in stores October 30th.
