Chicago-based songstress Lili K. is at it once again. This time around, she's flying without her usual collaborator Peter CottonTale, instead opting to join forces with 20-year-old producer Na$im Williams for "Let Me Know." The track finds Lili flexing her ample jazz chops at the beginning against splashes of organ and reverb before the song settles into a bit of a Teena Marie-esque R&B groove. Lyrically, she's lamenting about the uncertainty that her lover has left her in. "Is she the one you fancy more than I?" she sings. "Is she the one who's taking up all your time?" All in all, it's another stellar vocal from Lili and an impressive production by the young producer. The jazzy, soulful ditty is lifted from Na$im's upcoming Nightmare on Erie Street II EP, which drops September 22nd. If the rest of it sounds as good as this, it should be more than enough to hold you over until Lili (finally) brings us Metal Petals in October.
