Jennifer Hudson set her lungs free during a surprise performance with Prince during his Welcome 2 Chicago concert Tuesday night. The newly de-fro'd legend was in fine form as he knelt, shimmied and marched all around J-Hud, feeding off of the hair-raising energy of her vocals on "Nothing Compares 2 U." Backed by a 20-piece band, his largest yet, the entire performance was on fire. I don't know about you, but I'm gonna need the Purple One to welcome himself to my city quick, fast and in a hurry. Mary J. Blige performed the same song with him over the weekend when she brought him on stage as a surprise guest during her iHeartRadio performance. Between me and you, we all know that she is all of that and then some, but I dare you to say you're not feeling this duet with Ms. Hudson just a smidgen more. Alas, I could be wrong.
