The fact that summer officially ends this Friday and that September is already halfway over is a total blower, but we must all come to terms with fall's impending arrival and that October starts in less than two weeks. While I wrap my mind around that, I'm suddenly looking forward to wrapping my ears around new music from Solange. The newly indie artist will be dropping "Losing You," her first single on Terrible Records, on October 2nd via a music video for which she has released a sneak peek. The teaser is only 41 seconds in length, but it's enough to have you wanting to see and hear more ASAPtually. In the all-too-brief clip, we see an eclectic group of folks playing a game of Suck & Blow and passing a colorful card from one pair of lips to the next before ending with Solange and a male friend engaging in some tonsil hockey. We don't hear any of her actual vocals in the snippet, but the track produced by Blood Orange and co-written by Dev Hynes is sounding like a funky winner. Solange and company have definitely intrigued with this one.
