Parks have teamed up with DJ 5ifth
Element to bring us some soulful end of the week inspiration with "What
It's Gonna Be." Calling us to be true to ourselves and seize the moment, Jacque Hammond's beautifully
soul-soothing vocals built upon an Aretha Franklin sample quickly take this
laid-back record to another level. If Georgia
Anne Muldrow taught Lifeclass with Oprah,
this is what it would sound like. "Help
the world see it. If we defeat our selfishness, then we can't be defeated," Roman Lee adds after crooning the
chorus with Jacque. "What It's Gonna Be" is featured on their latest EP, Concluding Passages of a Revolution,
which plays as a follow up to their solo projects Lazy Love
and The Green Whale.
