Stacy Barthe is back and she comes to us with a beautiful message. While we haven't heard much from the singer/songwriter since her duet with fellow up-and-comer Mateo way back in July, it seems she's definitely been occupying her time with putting the finishing touches on her upcoming EP, P.S. I Love You. The first taste we're getting from the set is the fantastic "Flawed Beautiful Creatures." The track's dreamy production is all soft, lilting guitar and floating synths buoyed by a heavy-hitting bass kick and snare. Stacy uses all this to wax poetic about the human condition, reminding us that we're all flawed and beautiful in our own special way. Considering the brutal election year that we've all endured and the myriad issues within our country that it's reminded us of, a song like "Flawed Beautiful Creatures" seems like something we all need to be hearing right about now. P.S. I Love You is scheduled to be released December 11th via Stellar Music/Home School/Motown Records and promises to be another strong showing by the budding talent that is Ms. Barthe.
