Ester Dean's bump-and-grind worthy slow jam "Baby Making Love" already had a throwback feel to it and now the music video is here to match its appeal. Looking like it was straight up filmed in 1989, we see Ester and her girls kicking it in her bedroom while rocking a variety of hair and clothing styles from the day, dancing around the room, watching something scary on TV, playing on the phone with a boy and just being teenagers. My God how I miss those days. There's no actual "Baby Making Love" to be seen or had here in this pretty innocent video, but it's all to the good. What Dean achieves is a pretty accurate three-minute time capsule of a long-gone era, and I truly appreciate the walk down memory lane.
