As part of BBC 6 Music's week-long celebration of live music, the mighty Alice Russell dropped by Craig Charles' Funk & Soul Show to give listeners a taste of her new album, To Dust, as well as a few favorites from her catalog. The entire session is available via the BBC iPlayer, but her performance of album highlight "Hard & Strong" can be seen in all its glory below. Alice is joined by the album's producer TM Juke on guitar, regular backing vocalist/violinist Mike Simmonds and DivaGeek's Vula Malinga, as well as members of her regular band who she affectionately refers to as "her boys." The wait for To Dust's release is almost over as it hits shelves and digital retailers next Monday in the UK and Tuesday in the US.
