Prince Twists It Up In 'Screwdriver'

Though I think his latest leak, "Breakfast Can Wait," is far superior, any new Prince development is worth reporting. Coming off upstaging Gotye and Kimbra's win for Record of the Year at last night's GRAMMYs, his royal purpleness has dropped visuals for his single "Screwdriver." The grainy, black-and-white clip features him jamming with an all-girl rock band shortly after the ladies were dissed by a chauvinistic trio of guys (that particular portion of the clip accounts for nearly three minutes of the video's eight-minute run time). Prince's lo-fi rock jam session happens to bring out a group of dancers who proceed to perform some new-fangled take on The Twist as Prince and the ladies rock out with their you-know-whats out. The video is available for viewing now via his site prince2013.com for the odd price of $1.77 (honestly, how'd he come up with that number?). But, via a kind YouTuber, we have the clip for your viewing pleasure below, so watch while you can. [H/T: OKP]
