So, I just watched the video for Charles Bradley's new single, "Strictly Reserved For You," and it was quite the unexpected good time. Shame on me for not really taking notice of the "Screaming Eagle of Soul" before. This man is a soul-stirring, hip-shaking bundle of fun who needs to be heard. For about half of the video, he's pretty unassuming, sitting in a café with pain and anguish written all over his face, but once he loosened up, I couldn't be sure what he'd do next. By the time he burst through a set of bushes and cuddled with a grouping of flowers, I was smiling from ear to ear. He's just fun to watch, and you'll get your chance soon when he takes his show on the road starting on April 12th.
