Deitrick Haddon Finds His 'Way'

Progressive gospel singer Deitrick Haddon has returned to his signature sound with this new single "Have Your Way." Known best for strong moments like his 7 Days album and the 2011 hit "Well Done," Haddon's impressive talents have recently been overshadowed by unwarranted controversial announcements on Facebook and a batch of unnecessary "re-versed" remixes. (See: "Mercy") Fortunately, it seems as though Haddon has decided to return back to the formula that once garnered him two GRAMMY nominations and a host of Stellar and Dove awards. "Have Your Way" showcases the innovative blend of sounds and inspirational lyrical content that is to be expected of Haddon. "I just want to be a man after your heart. I don't know how I drifted so far," he sings, pleading with God as the song builds. With a discography spanning over 16 years and more than 13 albums, we only hope that Haddon continues on this uplifting route as he prepares for this forthcoming album which he will be calling R.E.D. (Restoring Everything Damaged). Check out "Have Your Way" and a brief introduction from Deitrick Haddon himself after the bounce.
