'Master Of The Mix' Finds A New Home On VH1

The DJ reality competition show Master of the Mix is back, and it's undergone a few changes. After previously moving from Centric to BET, the program will now be shown on VH1 with its third season kicking off on Monday, April 1st. You'd be an April fool to miss the premiere episode that finds DJ legend Kid Capri returning to the judges panel and being joined by a few new faces. DJ Mia Moretti and recording industry exec Ben Maddahi will join Kid to find the best DJ in the land, and Viacom darling Amanda Diva Seales, who herself is a DJ, will serve as the show's hostess. A look at the promo video that VH1 has released, which you can view after the bounce, shows that this season's Master of the Mix competitors are very diverse, but the intensity of the search for the cream of this crop of 19 remains the same. Once again sponsored by Smirnoff, the vodka will be flowing, and, knowing reality shows like I do, I'm sure that there'll be various moments where the audience will be driven to drink (responsibly, of course). Tune in to VH1 on April 1st at 10 pm EST to get your first sip of the new season of Master of the Mix, then watch subsequent episodes when they air on Mondays at midnight.
