Raheem DeVaughn & Fans Make A 'Love Connection'

When CeeLo Green dropped the lyric video for "F**k You" in 2010, little did know the trend that he would start. (Thank goodness his bedazzled feather-adorned costumes never caught on.) Now everybody and their second cousin releases a lyric video before the offical visuals. The thing about some lyric videos is that many artists and songwriters aren't as profound as they think they are or the videos themselves are pretty basic. Thank goodness Raheem DeVaughn's lyric video for "Love Connection" doesn't fall into that abyss. Raheem tapped into his loyal social media fanbase and solicited photos and videos from his Twitter followers and Facebook friends who sent in their own interpretations of the single cover art. The result is what we have here with lots of hand hearts and fans showing love. With a little more polish, more pics and more Raheem, this could have actually sufficed as the real video, but don't you worry, one is on its way soon directed by Jerome D. Also on the horizon is DeVaughn's A Place Called Love Land, which is scheduled to be released some time this summer.
