Or make that someone is missing. That someone would be Maxwell, of course, who is conspicuously absent from the cover art to Alicia Keys' third single, "Fire We Make." I understand that Mrs. Beatz is feeling her MILFy self these days, and she looks great with her back out and a sexy over the shoulder glance on the cover. That's all cute and dandy, but come, come now, Alicia. Let's not fool ourselves into thinking that "Fire We Make" isn't all about Maxwell -- not literally but vocally. He totally Debo'd her on this track and made it his. Maxwell may be riding shotgun, but he's the better driver. With all that said, I do hope that Maxwell features prominently (and preferably in some manner of undress) in the video otherwise there'll consequences and repercussions.
