It's great to see that Alice Smith is jumping aboard the promo train for the March 19th release of her sophomore set, She. A lot of people slept on her wonderfully eclectic debut, For Lovers, Dreamers and Me, so here's hoping that with the right exposure, she can get the recognition she rightfully deserves. Last Saturday morning, Alice appeared on CBS This Morning to give a preview of the album's title track and, accompanied by acoustic guitar, she nailed it. One criticism I heard about Alice's debut set was that, although there is no denying she has a fantastic and unique voice, her songs lacked a lil' something to make them stick. Having taken a listen to She in full, I can safely say that does not apply to her latest effort. [H/T: OKP]
