There has been, and will continue to be, a wealth of great music being released this year, but there is one album I'm looking forward to more than most. That album is Andreya Triana's as-yet-untitled sophomore set and follow up to 2010's breathtaking Lost Where I Belong. Although there have been no firm announcements, news has trickled out from a number of recent live dates that Andreya will be releasing both an EP and full-length album this year, and one of the new songs she has been previewing on tour was caught on film at her most recent London date. "Song For A Friend," as the name suggests, was written for a close friend who was going through a difficult time, and, as you will hear on the video, it's a deeply emotive, stunningly beautiful track that suits Andreya's warm, raspy tone perfectly.
