We have been singing the praises of Eglo Records' first lady Fatima since she released her Mindtravelin EP back in 2010. Since then she has collaborated with the likes of Floating Points Ensemble and Dirg Gerner, released a second EP produced by Floating Points and crafted another alongside Funkineven, but what we have really been waiting for is a full album from her. Well, that wait looks like it's coming to an end as, to jointly celebrate Eglo's fourth birthday and completing work on her debut album, Fatima will be hitting London's Jazz Cafe to showcase her work alongside Peter Hadar and her Eglo family. You can grab tickets to the event here, and catch a glimpse of Fatima in action below as she graces The Boiler Room with a performance of a new track "Shotgun," which I'm hoping will appear on her LP. As a bonus, hit the bounce to check out an equally spellbinding performance of her song "Red Light," taken from the Follow You EP. 2013 keeps on getting better and better.
