Rochelle Jordan delivered one of the better releases last year with her second EP P R E S S U R E. A standout cut was "Shotgun," ROJO's reinterpretation of Samantha James' "Deep Surprise." From its lovesick lyrics to its haunting instrumentation, "Shotgun" showed a remarkable vulnerability and one of ROJO's best vocal performances. Now, Rochelle's longtime collaborator KLSH has decided to remix the track, remaking it into a hazy, dub-drunk jam. This was accomplished by the producer keeping most of the original intact while adding in reggae percussion that makes the song feel more like lovers rock than lovesick. It's just another in KLSH's long line of excellent remixes, many of which can be found on his SoundCloud page. And, because you can't keep this kind of goodness to yourself, he's offering this one up for free. Get into the remix and be sure to pay close attention to the flip in the last 30 seconds.
