British electronic/dance music, not to mention Brit-soul and R&B, is making big waves around the globe of late thanks a combination of artists who are not afraid to push the envelope and a re-invigorated British music scene. In the last few years artists such as James Blake, Disclosure and SBTRKT have all crossed over into the mainstream without sacrificing their integrity, and there are new, up-and-coming artists surfacing everyday via outlets such as SoundCloud. One artist who has been on the scene a while now is Leeds-based producer Debian Blak who, having recently signed to esteemed indie label Audio Doughnuts, is preparing for the release of his Six Months From Mars EP and, if the first single "Can't Get Enough" is anything to go by, it will be worth picking up. From the opening's chimes and cymbals, through the bass kicking in, to the slightly screwed vocals courtesy of Neo Johua, this is guaranteed to get you moving. To accompany the single release, Debian has put together a cool video consisting of a montage of clips from '90's club nights, which you can peep below. Six Months From Mars will be officially released on May 13th.
