The documentary FunkJazz Kafé: Diary Of A Decade has been making the rounds since 2011, and it is making its Washington, DC debut on Thursday, May 30th. The premiere screening of Jason Orr's film about Atlanta's world renown FunkJazz Kafé during its heyday will happen at the Howard Theatre as it celebrates its own rebirth and a new heyday in the DMV. The setting is quite appropriate, and after the screening a Q&A session will be led by Wes Felton. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster and at the box office. The Howard Theatre has also been kind enough to give us a pair of tickets to give away, and all you have to do to win is to enter after the bounce.
