Thundercat has summoned us all to the floor with his newest surefire JAMM (yes, that extra 'M' is necessary) "Oh Sheit It's X." An ode to a certain pharmaceutical that has been known to have folks sweatin', Thundercat and co-producer Flying Lotus channel the dance floors of the 1980s for this jam that uncannily mimics the sound of post-disco R&B. While he expertly plays the bass, Thundercat sings about the *ahem* ecstasy he's feeling as he parties the night away before he realizes, "Oh sh*t, I'm f*cked up." While none of us here at SBHQ would ever endorse using any kind of illegal substance for recreational purposes, we must admit that this one (which, for some reason, puts me in the mind of a Carl "She's a Bad Mama Jama" Carlton track) is nothing but a funky good time.
