What Will You Find In Solange's 'Closets'?

It's been nearly six months since Solange released her True EP, and it's still being played like it just came out here at SBHQ. Ever since we first we got our first taste with "Losing You," the EP has been the aural gift that keeps on giving us life. While she's been all over the late-night circuit performing selected tracks from the album, she hasn't really given us much in the video department. That's why I'm glad that she's teamed with Absolut Tune and Refinery 29 to bring us a "mini-video" for bumpin' True track "Locked in Closets." Because it's a mini-video, the clip clocks in at less than half of the tune's original play time, but the younger Knowles sister packs a colorful punch in the short time. We see the always impeccably dressed Solange as she travels around NYC's best borough (for the uninitiated, that would be Brooklyn) before making it to Manhattan for her listening party. We also get a glimpse at Solo's colorful life, as scenes are filmed in her Red Hook studio and her friends, like frequent collaborator Dev Hynes, make cameos. The video only lasts a little more than a hot minute, but it's definitely a minute well spent.
