I was aware of Eliza Doolittle and the handful of little pop nuggets she has dropped over the last couple of years, but I had never paid her music much attention beyond that. Things changed when she made a surprising (at least for me) appearance on Disclosure's much-lauded Settle, with the storming "You & Me." It looks like the dance/house/garage scene is a good look for Eliza as she has now teamed up with legendary British producer Wookie for his new track "The Hype." Clocking it at a shade under two minutes, the snippet offers a glimpse of what may well become one of the underground hits of the summer. With its R&B bounce, hypnotic beat and a sophisticated vocal delivery we can't wait to get hold of the full track, and here's hoping that this is just the first collaboration of many.
