Unlike my colleagues here at SoulBounce, I'm kinda late to board the Mayer Hawthorne yacht (I was too busy dusting my Lloyd CD collection, don't judge me), but he is hitting all sort of right angles with the "Oliver Remix" to "Her Favorite Song." I mean, first of all he can sing, and secondly the "Computer Love" meets Daft Punk realness of the remix adds a little something you can do a nice little two-step and body roll combo to. The fact that this remix is available as a free download is just the icing on the cupcake. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to discover the rest of Hawthorne's musical wonders on his new album Where Does This Door Go, which dropped on Tuesday.
