Kwabs Is 'Calling Out' & We Are Listening

Here at SBHQ we come across a wealth of new talent on an almost daily basis, but every once in a while an artist surfaces that we feel has something extra special. One such artist is Kwabs, the British singer who has lent his hauntingly deep, rich vocals to covers of James Blake and Corinne Bailey-Rae, as well as delivering a handful of original tracks that have quite literally blown us away. While we still don't know if he has a full project in the works, a new song called "Calling Out" has surfaced and once again Kwabs has captured our attention. Recorded live at London's Blue Flowers, the track deals with the heart-wrenching pain of separation, which in itself packs an emotional punch but when those lyrics are combined with that voice the results are spine-tingling. You can pick up the live version of "Calling Out" for free by signing up to Kwabs' mailing list, and, as an added bonus, you will also get a live version of "Spirit Fade" performed at the same show. Hit the bounce to hear what all the fuss is about.
