We'll admit, this could've been much worse. When we first got word of Nelly's new "Bee Got Swag: #MustBeTheHoney" TV spot for Honey Nut Cheerios, the pantheon of hip-hop themed ads gone wrong flashed in our heads. We also briefly considered the possibility of an awkward, Beyoncé-celebrating cover of that modern classic from sports legend Deion Sanders. Thankfully, though the ad remains cornier than most products masquerading as breakfast "cereal" today, we can at least be thankful Nelly and General Mills didn't go the musical route. If only Memphis Bleek had the same advisers.
