Robin Thicke's 'Lines' Get Taken Over By Miley Cyrus On The 2013 MTV Video Music Awards

Well...that happened. Sunday night's 2013 MTV Video Music Awards once again ended up not being worth the hype that went into it. Performance wise, it was also a bit of a weird night for our boy Robin Thicke. Not only was he wearing a Beetlejuice suit robbed of last night's Song of the Summer Award (which went to a One Direction song that no one over the age of 15 has ever heard) at last night's VMAs, he was given the dubious honor of performing with Miley Cyrus. After she strutted her non-existent ass in her best Chuck E. Cheese stripper couture during her solo set, she decided to lend a hand and said non-existent ass as she "sang" and "twerked" (notice the quotes) along for Robin's "Blurred Lines." Praise noticeably absent Beysus that 2 Chainz soon showed up to lead off the football-themed performance of "Give It 2 U," sending Miley to the back of the stage where she belonged. Chainz and Kendrick Lamar delivered their verses from the track and then Robin finished off with the track's energetic chorus. All in all, Thicke made the best of a bad situation. If you like train wrecks, you can check out the muddled mess of a performance after the bounce.
