With the weather taking a chillier turn, if you need some music to keep you warm may I suggest Maysa's Blue Velvet Soul. The diva's tenth solo album is amongst some of her finest work and is perfect for those nights alone or in the company of another. If you happen to be rolling solo, then one of the tracks that you may be able to relate to is "Inside My Dreams." This is the first song from Blue Velvet Soul to receive the music video treatment, and in the black-and-white clip Maysa is seen alone for the majority of the visuals. The beautiful songstress sings in her room, kneels beside her bed to pray and spends some me time with herself and gets lost in her dreams as the song suggests. Later she's joined by more people, including a scene with her son Jazz at her alma mater Morgan State University. This may not be the most innovative video, but it does match the chill vibe of the song.
