Stevie Wonder Announces Plans To Release Two New Albums In 2014

Well the rumor mill has been churning ever since Stevie Wonder released 2005's A Time To Love, but now it appears that the man himself has confirmed plans to release not one, but two new albums next year. The first, When the World Began, will be a collaborative effort with songwriter David Foster and will apparently include reworks of some of his biggest songs, all backed by a full symphony orchestra. The second, Ten Billion Hearts, will be his first studio album in eight years and is said to be influenced by Stevie's appreciation for hip hop. He also reconfirmed plans to follow those two releases with a long-rumored gospel album dedicated to his mother, who passed away in 2006 and, if all that wasn't enough Stevie news for one day, he has announced plans to perform his entire Songs In the Key of Life album at his annual House Full of Toys benefit, which will take place December 21st at the Nokia Theater in LA. Tickets for the event will go on sale this Friday via AXS.com. [H/T: BB]
