"Deeper" by Ella Eyre comes from the EP of the same name, which will see light on December 22nd and is the sound of Ella stepping out front and center into the spotlight. After heavy rotation as a featured vocalist on tracks from Rudimental and Naughty Boy already this year, this is a chance to see what she has to offer as a solo artist and she certainly merits some time spent digging a little "Deeper." Her voice accepts the challenge and rises to the occasion with her sexily raspy tones offset by the skewed, slowed down backing vocals and complemented by the soul-pop stylings of the Two Inch Punch's production. This is a glimpse of an artist hitting her stride and carrying the wait of expectation on her own shoulders, and, if this track is anything to go by, she sure is strong enough. We're in no rush for 2013 to end, but come on, December 22nd!
