Laura Welsh has graced these pages a fair bit over the latter half of 2013, and for good reason. Her blend of moody soul and sophisticated pop has drawn attention from the likes of Dev Hynes, Gilles Peterson and Robin Hannibal, the latter of which lent his considerable talents to Laura's most recent single "Cold Front." We already addressed the track and the accompanying video, but now Laura has teamed up with the good folks over at The Line of Best Fit to deliver a live in-studio performance of the track, which sounds every bit as good as the recorded version. I've been checking Laura's touring schedule regularly and, while she hasn't headed out on the road yet, when she does I will be at the front of the queue.
