Lupe Fiasco & Ed Sheeran Kick It For The 'Old School'

Back in October, Lupe Fiasco dropped his single for "Old School Love," which explored romantic love and the love of music, specifically the golden era of hip hop and some of Lupe's earlier work. Now, the wordy rapper has delivered visuals for the track, which features recent Best New Artist GRAMMY nominee Ed Sheeran. In the Coodie & Chike directed clip, Lupe and Ed take us back to a time when Chicago wasn't known as "Chiraq." To do this, Lupe shows kids playing in the streets between creative clips and special effects to showcase a simpler, kinder time in the city that he calls home. Not one to shy away from a political statement, Lupe uses the clip to make one in possibly a more understated way than he's ever done in his career. We'll have to wait to see if this will be the trend for his upcoming Tetsuo & Youth, which will arrive sometime next year, though I highly doubt it. While we anticipate that, check out the video right here.
