Aloe Blacc's profile has been raised tenfold since being the voice of Avicii's EDM hit "Wake Me Up." He's gone from ashy to classy and jumped from the blogs to the big time with mad appearances in recent months. He performed on perhaps his biggest stage yet at this weekend's NBA All-Star Game Sprint Pregame Concert in New Orleans. After Mack Wilds and Jason Derulo hyped things up, Aloe came through to smooth things out with his song "The Man," which was recently featured in a Beats by Dre commercial. Dressed in all black like The Omen, Aloe entertained those in attendance and watching on TV with his showmanship. However, his vocals were pretty flat in spots, which could be attributed to his lack of wearing in-ear monitors. He may want to invest in some soon before his name gets changed to Aloe Wack.
