Though their collaboration had been teased for sometime, the boys of Disclosure and Lorde finally made it a reality at yesterday's BRIT Awards. The unlikely pairing got together for a joint performance of the (surprisingly) 17-year-old's international hit "Royals" and the duo's "White Noise." For Lorde's half of the performance, they did a sort of live remix of "Royals," stripping the song of its original beat and infusing it with a rhythm and groove closer to their style (the chorus even incorporated a bit of the electronic melody of "White Noise"). Soon, though, Aluna Francis of AlunaGeorge came strutting on the stage in a white see-through number to help the Howard brothers perform their hit. While Aluna's vocal left a bit to be desired, the performance still had enough energy to get the audience moving. For all of you who weren't across the pond to catch the event live, check the collaboration out here.
