There is little to say about Kwabs that we haven't already said time and time again. This guy is the real deal, and vocally there are few out there at the moment who come close to the level of soul and emotion he pours into his songs. One of my personal favorites is the heart-wrenching "Perfect Ruin," a song I am hoping and praying will make it on to his highly anticipated debut LP. In its acoustic form it is stunning, but in the hands of Telemachus it takes on a whole new feel, full of lush string work (courtesy of RunOne) and the producer's self-styled "apocalyptic orchestral soul." A fitting description if I ever heard one.
