It's no secret we're fans of the Soulection crew. One of its talented producers, IAMNOBODI, decided to change the pace on a classic D'Angelo ditty "Brown Sugar." His new rendition, which we like to call brauner Zucker, a nod to IAMNOBODI's German origins, features a synth-filled remix that’s just as good as the original. If you compare the remix and the original, IAMNOBODI's version wastes no time rising to an upbeat tempo and heavier drum presence. He layers the vocals and improvisations in various parts of the track and uses recurring piano notes to catch you off guard. Did he do D'Angelo's soul classic any justice?
